Bill heeft altijd in de schaduw gestaan van zijn succesvolle broer Robbie, een arrogante atleet en lokale beroemdheid die toevallig blind is. Jaren heeft hij Robbie geholpen om het ene doel na het andere te bereiken en kreeg hij daarvoor nooit een bedankje. Op een dag ontmoet Bill de charmante Rose en valt voor haar.
